Air Fried Apples

Healthy fried apples coated in maple syrup and cinnamon and ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large tart apples peeled, cored, cut into pieces*
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp melted coconut oil**
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Add the apples to a bowl and toss with the maple syrup, oil and cinnamon.
  • Preheat the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 380.
  • Add the apples and air fry for 10-12 minutes.
  • Serve as-is or with ice cream, yogurt or whipped cream. Eat in a bowl or piled onto buttered toast and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and chopped walnuts.

Notes

*I like honeycrisp, pink lady or granny smith apples.
**can sub in any neutral oil
