To a large saucepan add the sugar, brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium-low heat. Boil for about a minute until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from the heat.
Sir in the peanuts and mix well.
Spread on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake at 300 for about 25 minutes, stirring a couple of times during cooking.*
Remove from oven and allow to cool on baking sheet, stirring occasionally as it cools to separate the nuts. If there are any large clusters you can just break them up with your hands.
Notes
*the mixture will thin and liquify in the oven and that’s ok, just stir them around with a spatula.
