Fireball Whiskey Cinnamon Heart Cookies

Buttery, chewy cookies stuffed with cinnamon heart candies and laced with Fireball Whiskey, then drizzled with Fireball glaze. Because grownups need Valentine’s Day Cookies too!

Ingredients
  

For the cookies:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp milk powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp Fireball whiskey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup cinnamon heart candies

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Fireball Whiskey

Instructions
 

  • Combine the flour, milk powder, salt, cinnamon, cayenne, baking powder & baking soda in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  • In an electric mixer combine the melted butter and sugars. Mix for several minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the vanilla, Fireball Whiskey and egg. Mix well again.
  • Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture along with the cinnamon heart candies and mix until just combined.
  • Scoop onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes.
  • While the cookies cool, make the glaze.
  • Combine the powdered sugar and Fireball Whiskey in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze on the cooled cookies and top with additional cinnamon heart candies.
