White Chocolate Orange Cranberry Cookies

Bright, zesty, and irresistibly chewy, these cookies are packed with tart fresh cranberries, creamy white chocolate, and orange zest. Perfect for anytime you want a little sunshine in dessert form!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups + 1 Tbsp flour*
  • 2 Tbsp milk powder
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup melted butter cooled
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • 1 Tbsp Grand Marnier optional*
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries roughly chopped

Instructions
 

  • Combine the flour, milk powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  • Combine the melted butter, sugar and brown sugar in an electric mixer and cream for several minutes.
  • Add in the orange zest, vanilla, orange extract, egg and Grand Marnier (if using). Mix for several more minutes, until light and fluffy.
  • Add in dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips and the fresh cranberries.
  • Drop scoops of cookie dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes.

Notes

*If you want to omit the Grand Marnier, then omit the extra Tbsp of flour too.
