Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

Extra chocolate and extra peanut butter make these the best chocolate peanut butter brownies you'll ever try. Plus, they're super easy to make.

Ingredients
  

For the Brownies:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

For the chocolate glaze:

  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 Tbsp boiling water

For the peanut butter glaze:

  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tsp peanut butter powder *optional
  • 1 Tbsp boiling water

Instructions
 

Make the brownies:

  • Combine the butter, both sugars, eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Add in the flour, cocoa and salt and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the peanut butter chips.
  • Pour into and 8x8 pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes

While they bake make the glazes:

  • For the chocolate glaze whisk together the icing sugar, butter, cocoa, vanilla, salt and boiling water. Whisk until smooth.
  • For the peanut butter glaze whisk together the icing sugar, peanut butter, salt, peanut butter powder (if using) and boiling water. Whisk until smooth.
  • When the brownies come out spread the chocolate glaze evenly over them and let sit for a few minutes. Then drizzle with the peanut butter glaze.
