Garlic Chicken Parmesan Pasta
Creamy, garlicky pasta with chicken and lots of parmesan. An easy, delicious, 30 minute meal that’s a crowd pleaser.

olive oil

butter

flour

white wine

cups
milk
1/2
cup
heavy cream
1
cup
finely grated parmesan
Instructions
Start the pasta cooking in salted, boiling water (be sure to reserve some pasta water when draining)
Season chicken with garlic powder and S&P
Heat olive oil over medium-high heat and add in the chicken.
Cook the chicken, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove to a plate.
Add the butter to the skillet and when it’s melted add in the garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Stir in the flour, stir and cook another 1-2 minutes.
Stir in the wine and stir up any bits in the pan. Allow to simmer for about 1 minute.
Stir in the milk and the cream, reduce the heat and simmer until smooth and thickened.
Stir in the Parmesan and season with S&P. Thin with pasta water, if desired.
Add the chicken back into the sauce along with the cooked pasta.
Serve with extra parmesan and pepper.
Notes
*I use Mafaldine and prefer a long pasta for this, but any pasta works.
