Peanut Butter and Fudge Stuffed Blondies

For the fudge:
- 6 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk 1 small can
- Pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
For the blondies:
- 3/4 cup butter melted, not hot
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup fudge
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
Make the fudge:
To make the fudge place a medium saucepan over medium heat and add in the cocoa, butter, powdered sugar, evaporated milk and salt.
Stir well, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, until firm.
Make the brownies:
In a large bowl combine the butter and sugars and mix well.
Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Mix together the flour and salt and add. Mix until just combined.
Spread half the batter into an 8” x 8” greased or lined pan.
Dollop with spoonfuls of the peanut butter and fudge.
Spread remaining batter on top.
Bake at 350 for about 30-35 minutes.
Allow to cool before eating so bars firm up.
