Cheesy Chili Crisp Fried Eggs. Has a good ring to it doesn’t it? Eggs fried in a pool of spicy chili crisp and cheese that gets that brown, lacy, crispy edge. Sooooo good. And ready in about 10 minutes.
I am really into frying eggs in stuff these days (click here for the Instagram video of my Cajun Butter Fried Eggs with Garlicky Yogurt). Maybe because I keep seeing those pesto eggs everywhere… but somehow they don’t appeal to me… Somebody sell me on it… convince me they’re better than these. I wish you luck.
These eggs… I can’t stop making these. They’re ready in a flash, have amazing flavour and are addictively delicious. Just think about it… Chili Crisp heat combined with cheesy goodness topped with eggs. I mean… you can try to convince me to switch over to pesto eggs, but I warn you, I’m going to be a hard sell on this one. I suggest you make a plate of these while you’re working on your strategy.
- 1 heaping Tbsp Spicy Chili Crisp (store bought or follow this chili crisp recipe to make your own)
- 3 Tbsp grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- Sliced green onion
- Add the Chili Crisp to your frying pan over medium heat.
- Add in the cheese.
- Once the cheese has melted crack in your eggs.
- Cook to your liking.
- Top with sliced green onions.
