Instant Pot Apple Cider

Instant Pot Apple Cider – With Cinnamon and Ginger

This super easy Instant Pot Apple Cider is my new favourite thing to do with fall apples, and friends, I have a LOT of fall apples. We have a tree in our backyard that produces no less than 8347 apples. Every. Single. Year.

Pretty much every night in September when anyone in my family asks “what’s for dinner?”, the answer will have the word apple in it. We make dozens of jars of applesauce and then there are the cakes, syrups, breads, salads, dinners… but this… this is my new favourite and let me tell you why…

ZERO peeling, coring, or anything more than just chopping up the apples. And yes, before you ask, I am tempted to even try skipping that step and just throwing them in there whole. What’s the worst thing that could happen? I’ll keep you posted.

Making Apple Cider in the Instant Pot has got to be the easiest thing in the world and it is so delicious. You just throw it all in the pot, set the timer, let it cook, strain, pour into glasses, add bourbon… wait. What?

I hope you love it. Oh, and by the way, while you’re here, tell me what would you do with 8347 apples??? Seriously, what? Leave me a comment with your best apple recipes.
